Warm up with dynamic stretches and cool down with static ones. Your joints and muscles will thank you. Here are some examples of both and when to use them!
๐ฅ Dynamic Stretches (Before Exercise)
These get your body moving and muscles warm:
Leg Swings โ Forward and backward leg swings to loosen hips.
Arm Circles โ Big circles with your arms to warm up shoulders.
Walking Lunges โ Step forward into a lunge, alternating legs.
Torso Twists โ Rotate your upper body side to side gently.
